Showing some useful new features of Adobe CS6 which are panorama related, covering Photoshop CS6, Indesign CS6 and Lightroom 4.

Report:

My session covered mainly two topics:

  • Adobe Lightroom 4.1 or newer is capable of processing and editing 32 bit tiff images in the same way it deals with conventional raw images, tiff or Photoshop files. A new workflow opens a 3rd alternative way besides traditional HDR workflows with tonemapping and fusion treatment. As Lightroom uses the same engine as Adobe Camera Raw does, this way works as well.
  • Th Digital Publishing Suite, an ecosystem of Adobe and Apple, which is attached to Adobe InDesign via a plugin-in, allows for rich media overlays for interactive iBooks or iOS apps and e-books. Three of these overlays are interesting for panoramic photographers. I made a short example presentation of implementing a spherical and a cylindrical panorama into InDesign and showing a panorama made with Pano2VR inserted as web container.
